The importance of Neutral Accents

Throughout out the world the call center industry has been booming. First in India and Philippines where the necessity of overpopulated countries and the need to put people to work. Even though they were taught a proper english their accents were never neutral. Causing complaints from american customers.

Thats where the America's are jumping on the bandwagon. Providing very neutral accents and the private education system joining in on the money trail. For example in Honduras there are 410 fully bilingual private schools reaching every social level; from to cheap to very expensive. But now the average child from a low to middle class is receiving bilingual education. This is also creating a sustainable labor pool.

This lower to middle class is hauling in investors to the country by the boat loads. Cheaper labor costs and americanized accents, what else can a call center want?

The secret is in the schooling. Children are being taught english as early as the age of 2. In a program schools are calling early stimulation, by the time they are in kindergarten honduran kids that are brought up by spanish speaking only parents, are reciting numbers, words, and with holding conversations completely in english.

Just another reason companies need to check Honduras as the next hub for nearshoring.
